When the distance between dominoes increases, the speed taken for the dominoes decreases. Can someone please explain this, in terms of physics? Please explain well and thoroughly.
Thanks! Why does a greater spacing between dominoes, result in smaller speed? (10 POINTS, NO JOKE!)?
This happens due to the variable of time. It takes longer for the dominoe to fall and hit the other dominoe when the space between them increase. Thus, the slower speed that is created. But when the dominoes are placed closer together, instead of farther apart, it takes less time for the dominoe to hit the other one. Thus, the faster the dominoe effect speed. I do hope this helped u....;)
