five and three's need to four playerWhat are the rules for five and three dominoes?
no, does not need 4 players, but 4 are needed for competitive play. The idea is to add up the spots on the end dominos, and if they add up to a multiple of 5 or 3, then you score that number, doubles are laid sideways so both halves of the domino score, double 6 scores 1. Therefore if they add up to 6, then the score is 2, (2 threes.) 10, score is also 2 (2 fives) add up to 15, and the score is 8, (5 threes, and 3 fives). Scoring uses a standard cribbage board, and usually you ahve to get the exact score to win, therfore if you only need 1, then a score of 2 will NOT win. What are the rules for five and three dominoes?
You can play with two.Rules vary with the region you are playing in .The only one that does'nt vary is that when added together the spots on the end domino must add up to a number that can be divided by 3 or 5.Say your last dominoes add up to 15 this can be divided by 3---five times.IT can also be divided by 5----three times so your score is 5+3=8.Some people use double 9's others double 6's Very rarely double 12's are used.Generally scoring is on a cribbage board. Some people play straight through----ie.the one who reaches the end or beyond first wins. Others(much harder) play dead hole where the last score must add up to a number which finishes in the last(dead) hole. That is if you have one hole left you may only score one point with your dominoes or knock.A great game dominoes there are hundreds of different games.I was a licencee for a long time and have seen wages lost and blood spilt over dominoes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What are the rules for five and three dominoes?
