How can I fix this yahoo dominoes chat issue?

When I am playing yahoo dominoes, I click on the chat box to type a message to the other player, and the cursor never appears, and thus no characters appear either. So, everyone thinks I'm just ignoring them when really...I just can't chat. How can I fix this issue?|||you should contact yahoo
