Do any of you know about a Texas game played with dominoes called 42?

I was extremely popular in rural East Texas when I was a kid, but I think it is not as popular as it once was. One reason it was so popular in that area was that many people thought that "cards" were sinful, but not dominoes!|||LOL of course. But why would you waste points to know if I have heard of it???????
