Can someone explain to me how to play Dominoes?

I bought a box of a domino set of 28 dominoes. Well it's been years since I've played and my brother and I were trying to play again, but couldn't remember the correct way how; and the instructions don't really explain it too well. But maybe I'm just stupid and don't get it.|||There's good instructions here|||each player gets 7 dominoes


the first domonoe is 6-6, if nobody has it its 5-5 etc


the next play is shaped like the letter " T "


you can use the first double to play like the letter " X "


if you cant play? its either pass or grab the extra dominoes


you get points in multiples of 5-10-15 etc


the first double can get 12 points (nothing)


if you use 5-5 , thats a instant 10 points
