It sounds like you're playing the simplest game, which is a pure block game. There's no scoring during play and no "boneyard" to draw from. Either all of the dominoes are in play from the beginning or some are left out of play as blockers. The winner is the first to "domino" (play his last domino.) If everyone passes then the lowest count hand wins. There are variations, but the block game is usually limited to two ends (no branching out at the double dominoes.)
The two basic strategies are:
1. Watch who passes. That means that they can't match any of the ends and tells you what will block them for rest of that game.
2. Create ends that are favorable to you and bad for the others. That's all there is to it.
Example: You can make both ends a three and you have several more dominoes with threes on them. How do i play dominoes? (7 drawn variation 4 people?)?
"read" the dominoes, there are only 28 and you have 7...pay attention to who passes and on what turn?...sometimes you play for points and sometimes you play for stategy.......lets say you have 2/3 and can play on both ends? which way do you play?...if i can make someone pass?...im going toHow do i play dominoes? (7 drawn variation 4 people?)?
